• St Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia - Artist in Residence:  drum set lessons,  jazz history,  percussion ensemble, jazz combo.
• Cape Breton, Nova Scotia:  in-service on percussion pedagogy for school district band directors.
• Authored an instruction book: Contemporary Linear Drumming .
• Lander University, Greenwood, SC: master class on music performance techniques.
• Ken Stanton Music: taught drum lessons.
• James Madison University: Taught master class on jazz drumming, sponsored by IAJE.
  
• University of South Carolina continuing education, Hilton Head Island: Taught six week course on  jazz history.
• DrumView Magazine: early video magazine from Los Angeles, taught the video segment called "the Jazz Clinic."
